April's Fool Day

Ok, I know it's not April, but where I come from April's fool day is today Dec 28th, I believe it's the day of the Innocent Saints or something like that, it has to do with a biblical story, OK, just went into wikipedia and it's not a nice story, but bottom line? in Latin America Dec 28th is the day were you go around trying to trick people into believing that they have won the lottery, got a promotion, their girlfriends are cheating on them or that there is a giant rat hiding in your basement and me? well, I guess I might be kidding myself on starting this blog, who am I kidding, I never finish what I start because work always get's in the way, sometimes I never know where I'm going to be in 3 weeks and others I know for sure everyday of my life for the next 3 months with a traveling schedule, so I can never follow what I start... but as another joke to myslef I will add this in my New Year's resolution that I tend to forget after the 2nd day of the year.

So you might be asking why have I started this blog? OK, I don't know... but there is somebody that I believe is 10 thousand times more busy than me and if he can do it, why can't I? so here I am, I've always wanted to do this, seriously :) and let's see how it goes....

A giant rat hiding in my basement? Don't laugh with that!!! Cause there's actually a mouse hiding in my closet and I'm completely scared by it! Eeeeeek!

On my way to the airport getting ready to leave Israel somebody asked me where was I from. Finding Freedom

  Today is Mental Health day and many people are sharing and posting to create awareness. Some of you might wonder why do we need to create awareness? For me it is very simple... if not treated it can cause death and you, yes you, who is reading this can be the beginning of the cure. Contrary to many physical health issues where we need medical doctors with years of studies, this is one condition that you, me, any of us can start the healing process by just saying: I hear you, tell me more, I love you, I’m here for you, I see you, I’ll stop by, let’s get coffee or tea, I believe you. You can be that one person that makes a difference and what a difference that is. Caro's Story

Normally my stories always start with, when I was born… I believe there’s not enough context if I don’t start from the beginning, right? Context is important to me, others might prefer that I cut to the chase, but how about the transformation? the journey? don’t you need a before and an after to compare? Well, this time I’m not starting with “when I was born”, you’re lucky, but it does start with: “over 2 years ago in November 2016, I went to Israel on a business trip and spent an afternoon in Jerusalem”. I couldn’t describe, even months after, that afternoon. What did it mean. I had gone to Jerusalem for the food, the market, the historical sites, the  best company ever and I confess, the selfie too.
